About the Author

Ivan McAdam O’Connell is a best-selling author, respected speaker and freedom coach.

Through his 30’s he climbed the corporate ladder, rising to the role of COO in a large bank. While also developing and perfecting a roadmap for mid-career executives and professionals to escape careers they no longer loved, and unlock their true potential.

A devoted father and husband, Ivan and his wife set the goal of living financially free and enjoying their LifeStyle Freedom before he turned 40. With one month to go, he and his wife left their careers behind, sold off all their possessions, and they and their young daughter headed off on a year and a half family adventure around the world.

On the road Ivan wrote the outline of his book, and an initial extract was published in a best selling anthology collection in 2023. After their adventure, Ivan and his family settled in Singapore, living their LifeStyle Freedom for more than 3 years now.

Travel and adventure remains a passion for Ivan and his family, who continue to travel extensively 3 months a year during school holidays. Visiting more than 50 countries so far.

Today Ivan continues to write and share content regularly on social media, as well as speak, coach, teach and hold events.

All part of his Mission to help “1 million families to live bigger, healthier and richer lives together.”

While also managing his Investment Income and a number of new flexible business ventures. Continuing to buy & create Money Generating Assets, and living off the fruit of these.

Ivan believes the most powerful benefit of freedom is the ability to take your shot and aim BIG. So his life is focused on family, health and pursuing the dreams and opportunities that excite him - on his own terms.
